Ava Rymer is a photographer who was born and still residing in Chattanooga, TN. She is inspired by natural landscapes, and the escapism of creating her own world.
She discovered her love of photography while completing her marketing degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Ava started as a model finding solace with her barefeet on the ground in the Great Smoky Mountains. Yearning to express her own ideas she started teaching herself photography when not studying or working. For graduation, she bought herself her first camera and poured herself into finding her own style and voice.
Rymer's work is highly influenced by fairytales, travels around the world with her partner, and telling the stories of the women she shoots. Her work often has a dark, romantic, and dreamlike quality that allows the viewer to escape into her inner world.
